If you're willing to be a bit draconian, make the silent ringtone the default and set custom ringtones for the folks you actually want to hear from.

I generally don't bother to answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, so this works for me.

I do this on my iPhone. I actually let all my friends set their own ringtones when I add them to the contacts.

The Webguy has recently fallen victim to a circumstance involving an overly aggressive spam filter and a domain name blackmailer. As a result, The Webguy lost his domain name of nearly 14 years. Content from the former The-Webguy.com website is still being moved around, to get the new DurtyNelly.com website going, but it's never too soon to get the Internet spiders spidering.
