Cool tip! What I want to know is how to make it search the folder I'm in automatically without resorting to click the button with my mouse :/

Yes that is what is really needed! I've been trying to figure that out. The currect folder was the default under Tiger but in Leapord they switched to "This Mac". Seems like the wrong default to me...
