Remove portions of forwarded HTML mail in Mail.app

I've known about this for a while, but never posted a hint about it. I guess I should have.

What you can edit depends on how the HTML was formatted. The close box is attached to div tags I think. You can also edit the HTML. Just select the offending text and type right over it. You may need to do this to remove some of the ads.

You can also do the same thing when copying and pasting from an HTML page. Just last night I copied a sample table from a web page into an e-mail and edited the table to use my own values.

Yes, definitley depends on the HTML code. Sending this very page with Command-I produced an email with no elements which could be deleted.
