10.5: View mounted shares in the sidebar

my mounted shares won't stay in the devices list either... i hit cmd+t or even drag them into the devices, and sure, they stay.. but on reboot, finder doesn't remember to put them back on mount..

its strange, b/c some of my shares will automatically be listed in devices on mount, but some don't....

quite aggravating.

Does anyone know where the info for the links shown in the "Devices" list on the sidebar are stored? If I could just add that info through a script it would help.

The information is stored in the com.apple.sidebar.plist file in your Preferences folder.

For anyone else who ends up Googling this issue: It is now persistent as 10.5.5 and later - unsure about 10.5.4
