This is a good step forward. One of the reasons I haven't bought it is that I couldn't stand looking at the awful yellow of the non standard UI.

I tried changing it to blue but it's purple =o¿ Then I changed it to grey & at last it doesn't hurt your eyes :)
BlitzSearch is still yellow though. Hopefully that can be changed soon.

One of the other reasons I don't like it is that the 'Name' search field isn't wide enough to see what you're typing. Would be much better if it was to the top right of the toolbar & much wider (like the standard search field in Finder windows).

If they sort out the colour of the BlitzSearch & the name field I definitely buy this.

Yesterday's HoudahSpot 2.1.5 update addresses both of your concerns. The BlitzSearch field's color now matches the main accent colors. The text entry fields are wider now.
