Hi just want to say that free hotmail users could actually forward their emails to a non microsoft account.

To do this you need to sign up for mobile msn in hotmail options.

This service is made to deliver sms notifications to your mobile and will let your service provider charge you a fee for every sms. However once you set it up you can disable the notifications and you will benefit from the added feature of mail forwarding to different accounts.
Note: this also depends if you service provider is listed with hotmail ... so it might not work in all countries .. it works here in canada

Another thing is how to import/export contacts from hotmail to gmail. I read the how-to posted here and found it a bit long and amateur.

Live mail has made it easy to export contacts to .csv ... go to options and u'll find it there ... you dont have to copy your file into an excel sheet then save it ... so on

I set up MSM Mobile with my free hotmail account, How exactly do you forward the emails to GMAIL after. It still does not allow me to do this.
