@ mr_dbr: did you manage to do that?
- using imap on the iphone
- using pop on your mac/mail

That would be ideal, since I like pop on my mac, because it doesn't do this endless syncing etc.

Does a mail that you read via imap on your iphone, still download to your pop client on your mac/pc?
