10.5: A fix for Mail.app not showing IMAP sub-mailboxes

Mail.app 10.5 wants to add the Apple To Do folder (why?) and is insistent that the IMAP prefix is set according to the IMAP server's own settings.

In may case, Fastmail, all was well until I finally relented and accepted the prompted change to "INBOX". Then I lost access to my sub-folders and everything was messed up, sync'ing, etc.

The remedy was to delete the IMAP prefix, copy the server folders back to the mac, delete everything on the IMAP server, THEN change the IMAP prefix and copy everything back. Now all is well and everything is where it used to be.

So for me, the problems where when I changed the IMAP prefix with content on the server.
