Another way to create a secondary click
Authored by: Martial_Slone on Mon, Jan 21 2008 at 11:08AM PST
Any way on a mbp to enable the right-click touchpad button when 2 fingers are pressed without enabling two finger tap right-clicking?

I really like using the 2 fingers + click to right click, but I find with the two finger tap enabled, I often right click when I mean to normal click.

The click-drag option can be turned off in the Keyboard & Mouse Control Panel under the Trackpad pane by unchecking the the box for Clicking.
The two finger on trackpad+click for secondary click is a separate checkbox.
I use the latter but not the former as my standard operating procedure and have worked that way since I realized these features were available- first day I got a MBP (week 7 after they began to ship).
