I don't understand all the negativity for this product. Sure it's not for everyone. Sure it's not a primary machine. But for those who travel frequently this is a godsend. I lug my MBP around on all my trips. But it's a real pain. In the last 5 years I can't think of a single time I've used my optical drive on the road. I can only think of a few times when I've had to plug it into an ethernet connection (never in the last two years). I can't recall ever plugging in anything to the USB port other than a flash drive or camera card reader. This thing will be awesome. I only hope it gets here before my next trip in a few weeks.
