For 99.95% of the people who use (still) use Hotmail - this part of the hint will be enough:
(If you don't have an option for forwarding, you may be out of luck. Perhaps others have advice on how to get Hotmail to allow this.)
Unless you pay or install a web popper software - there is no "free" way to forward Hotmail.

And whats this got to do with the iPhone? This is more about gmail than iPhone. Anyone who's used the iPhone knows that its possible to access gmail from an iPhone.
