This is a great hint; thank you for that. I'll definitely try it out.

However, from my standpoint, I'm holding off on deploying Leopard Server in any way or form because it's simply broken in way to many places and if you're not there full time; it's a nightmare waiting to happen.

Once its ready, then TM will work as intended. On a parallel front, I configure the server to use mobile profiles for everyone. This creates a mirror image of every user's profile on the server at all times. Then using PSYNC, I back everything up to external drives that are rotated weekly.
