10.5: View mounted shares in the sidebar
Authored by: dstranathan on Thu, Dec 20 2007 at 11:48AM PST
Dragging mounts to the sidebar will not really work but the mounts in the sidebar are "forgotten" after a reboot/logout. They are NOT persistent!

They show up as "devices" rather than shared items or locations which is odd, too - Im nitpicking here, but still...

Anyone have a Leopard tweak or hack to get the side bar to show mounted volumes, rather than servers? I need to see the share points, not the server itself (especially when Kerberos is enabled - its just plain goofy)

I like Leopard, but need my sidebar to show mounts like 10.4 (Tiger) did.
