I DID actually mention that in my hint, which this hint actually links to- first line of the second paragraph:

This works with the spring-loaded dock and folders as well...

Perhaps I just wasn't clear enough :) In reading that again, I guess I can understand how you could miss that I was saying you can drag directly to an application. Oh well, it's all good :)
