Unless you do a block copy CCC 3.0.1 goes into an infinite file scanning loop (I canceled it after 8 hours in that mode) due to its not properly processing unix hard links which TM uses to order its backup tree. I've notified them of this.

I tried using Disk Utility to create a backup of my TM drive and Disk Utility hung up too even after having it do a successful volume check. (TM has worked flawlessly for me so I have no reason to suspect drive/volume problems.)
