I actually racked my brain for a little bit, trying to verify if my MBP was going to be compatible before purchasing the N upgrade, (and an N router).


Two things I found out:
1.You can see if N is already enabled in the Network Utility (info tab, wireless in the dropdown, it should show "Wireless Network Adapter (802.11 a/b/g/n)")

2. Leopard's N spec is very, very picky when interacting with anything except the airport extreme (lots of reports of N working in Tiger with linksys, etc routers then Breaking when Leopard is installed, no matter how fresh and updated it is)


Research before you buy an N router to work with the Macbooks
