I used to have a lot of trouble with Logitech Control Center. Now I use ControllerMate from OrderedBytes.

It took a while to configure, but once done I was able to wave goodbye to the horrendous LCC.

I am in no way linked to OrderBytes, I'm just happy a happy customer.
