This *causes* issue for my Spaces mouse shortcut

I have my Mouse 6 button (thumb button on a Blue tooth Logitech MX1000 Laser) setup to activate spaces (System Preferences > Spaces).

However, when I run the 'killall Dock' command to force changes I have made to my Dock/Stacks my mouse can no longer activate Spaces.

I can navigate via keyboard just fine.

Anyone else get the same?

A reboot fixes it for me.
