Is there a simple way to configure a single server among two networked computers? It seems sllly to have to install and configure everything twice...

works fine if installed on one computer, and connected to from another

i have it installed on my iMac and connect to it with my macbook

I installed openfire on my desktop machine so I could get a yahoo transport setup with psi and use iChat for icq, aim, yahoo and google talk all at the same time. So on the same desktop machine I just logged into my desktop openfire account as myopenfireusername@localhost (vs using the hostname I'd use from my laptop) and it works peachy! If thats the sorta thing you're talking about.
