Shift Key is valuable for moving a single window too
Authored by: splatkus on Tue, Nov 13 2007 at 9:00AM PST
If you use the shift key to move multiple windows in the Spaces view like this hint describes, I noticed that it preserves the position of the windows on screen when dropped into the new space. So I tried the shift key with just a single window. That also preserves the position of the single window when dragging to a new space. This is great because I've been looking for an easy way to move windows between spaces but keep them in the same place on the screen.
