Use Quicksilver for quick timed reminders

You can also press control-enter to "create" the command, and then immediately type "delay" to set up a timer to run that action. This can be done on any action; large type, playing songs, etc...

i.e.:
activate quicksilver
press "."
type text
press tab
press control-enter
type "delay"
press tab
type "20m"
enter!!!
