10.5: Move Time Machine backup to another drive

Got it work - finally... with Super Duper. Interestingly enough, it failed as well at nearly 100% completion but was specific about what it was having trouble with... it was a password protected folder on the Time Machine disk. I deleted it from the backup, and tried again using Smart Update and it worked! My Drobo is now recognized as a Time Machine backup!

A password-protected folder? How do you set up one of those? I know about encrypting sparseimages, to secure files, but I didn't know you could restrict access to a single folder with a password in OSX. How's that done?
