Unlock a Mac stuck at the 'Master Password' login screen

In Leopard, if you use "List of users" mode, you hit the back button to return to the user list as has already been mentioned. If you use "Name and password" mode all you have to do is focus back on the "Name:" field and you exit master password mode back to the normal login mode. No ssh necessary.
