How to access MobileMe's iDisk from IE6 in Windows Internet
To access your iDisk on a Windows PC running Internet Explorer 6 (inside a virtual machine, or via Boot Camp), use this web address:

http://idisk.mac.com/username

Enter your username and password when prompted, and you're in!

[robg adds: I can't easily test this, not having IE 6 installed anywhere, but I assume this hint exists because IE6 doesn't like the new http://public.me.com/username pages.]

No, no, no, no, no, no! This is an awful hint! Why would you want to enable further IE6 usage? Why???

Because there are sites (such as Windows Update) which require Internet Explorer and because IE7 and IE8 are such horrid train wrecks of bad UI that some of us can't live with them durning those painful moments when we are forced to use Windows. That's why ;)

IE6 should die. Thankfully it is dying, but it still represents at least 20% of the visitors of the sites I manage.

And, AFAIK, this hint stops with IE6 and Windows 2000. With XP or a higher version of IE, you need to download Apple's iDisk connector, which is probably better anyway. It maps the iDisk to a drive letter on your Windows install.

The only reason you should ever have IE 6 is to make webpages compatible with it - otherwise, you should use ANYthing else for browsing. Firefox, Chrome, IE 7, Opera, Safari - anything else.

I just click on the "History Flow" button in the toolbar. It seems like the easiest option - one click and you're there.

I think you meant to post this in Quick history browsing in Safari 4 beta.
