Simply click the time display in the bottom right corner of the controls overlay when viewing a media file in Quick Look to switch from time elapsed to time remaining.

Does anyone know how to do this in the Quicktime player? I must be missing something obvious, but I've never seen a way to display time remaining in QT.

I've never been able to find this either. I find it to be a huge oversight.
