10.5: Automatically center dragged windows in Spaces Apps
When using Spaces, I sometimes find it annoying that when you drag from one space to another, the dragged window is placed exactly where you put it.

However, if you activate Exposé's All Windows mode (F9 by default) after activating Spaces (F8 by default), when you drag a window from one space to another, Spaces will automatically place it in the middle of the chosen space.

Doesn't work for me. It stays wherever I place it in the new space.

For me when you drag a window From Space A to B in Exposé All Windows mode it stays exactly in the same position is it was on Space A, So if it was centered it stays centered...

If you click a window in spaces, then press and hold Shift while dragging, the window will jump to the position it was in the previous space. However, be sure to press Shift after clicking and do not let go of shift until you have let go of the window. If you press Shift before stating your drag, it will not put the window in its previous place, but will instead move all windows of that application to the second space.

I made a mistake on my last comment. The order of Shift and dragging is the other way around. Pressing down Shift BEFORE starting the drag puts the window in it's previous place, and after moves all app windows. Sorry!

I have just found out interesting feature about this shit key combination.
You can drag & drop multiple windows from one space to another.
Moreover, only windows related to an application or finder can be selected with shift key combination.
