To easily remove a third-party screen saver module under Leopard:

Open System Preferences
Select Desktop & Screen Saver
Select the third-party screen saver module you want to remove
Hold the Control key and select Send to the Trash from the small contextual menu

In Tiger, one has to go in ~/Library/Screen Savers/ and throw the file in the Trash manually.
