10.5: Move all windows of an application in Spaces Apps
In Spaces view mode (F8), you can move all windows of an application together (from one space) to another space by dragging them with Control key or Shift key held down.

This is very useful if you are using a lot of windows in an application like in XCode, and want to change its space location.

[robg adds: This only works for windows within one space; if your program has windows in multiple spaces, you'll have to consolidate them first.]

I discovered that you can hit the F8 to see all your spaces and just drag a window from one space to another space.

You can also use this to move all the windows of an application together relative to one another within a single space.

Shift Key is valuable for moving a single window too

If you use the shift key to move multiple windows in the Spaces view like this hint describes, I noticed that it preserves the position of the windows on screen when dropped into the new space. So I tried the shift key with just a single window. That also preserves the position of the single window when dragging to a new space. This is great because I've been looking for an easy way to move windows between spaces but keep them in the same place on the screen.
