10.5: Add shortcuts to sidebar from Open/Save dialogs System 10.5
OS X 10.5 now allows you to add items to the Finder's sidebar via drag/drop (to the SHARED section) from any Open/Save dialog box. This can be a real timesaver if you're, for instance, temporarily using one folder for a project. Drag it to the sidebar the first time you save, then have fast access to it for future files you add to that folder.

Side note: Interestingly enough, in the Search For section of the sidebar, you can add Smart Folders when you save them, by checking the "Add to Sidebar" box. BUT, it doesn't work the first time. You have to perform the drag and drop into the Sidebar. From that point on, the checkbox works.
