Use a Wii remote for retro gaming on the Mac Apps
Install and run DarwiinRemote on your Mac -- you must have Bluetooth. You will need to map the keys for the remote with the above app to some keyboard keys. The default setup is for Front Row. Create a new set not using any Front Row keys. Now with your game emulator, map it to the same keys on your keyboard. Now you can control your game emulator using your Wii remote.

Due to a big bug in Open GL, if you have a big LCD like me, your Mac (Mac mini here) will crash when you try play in full screen mode. There is a workaround. For Snes9x, you can choose any non OpenGL display in the prefs. For sixtyforce, up the screen resolution to its highest setting. I haven't tried any other emulators yet.

You might want to be careful with the Wii remote and OSX 10.4.9

I have been doing this for a while and have had NO problem on my 17" 1.5 ghz PowerBook. I have not used the remote with a Wii near my laptop though. It might only happen with Intel Macs or maybe only the MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo...

Well. . .of course.

Assuming darwiin remote becomes stable (and less of a CPU hog). .the Wiimote + Classic Controller combination would be ideal for just about any emulator.

From the looks of it though; supposedly the classic controller is 'supported' in 0.5, but the preference interface is broken and most of the buttons don't map properly yet. They also have not really implimented application specific keymappings yet. . .the project is definitely not mature yet :P
