I have been working on some Widgets for Tiger's Dashboard. Tired of renaming my Widget folders back and forth, I used Automator to lend me a hand.

To aid my development and testing of widgets I have created the following handy Automator workflow. What it does for you is the following:

1. Convert a chosen folder into a Dashboard Widget.
2. Open the Widget in Dashboard.
3. Give the option to revert the Widget to its original folder state for further editing, or keep the widget as is.

Any widget developer out there should really give this workflow a spin. Here's a link to the download page, which holds a disk image containing the workflow, a stand-alone app version of it, and a Read Me file.
