Two quick tips for working with the Calendar area of iPhoto 5:
- Clicking on the word "Calendar" in the area's title bar brings you to the current month (or year, depending on which view you're using).
- As described in this hint for the Keyword area, the scrollwheel on a mouse will let you quickly move through months (or years).
